I'm Yoav. I've spent two decades building things that matter.

I founded Simple Energy in 2010 and went through Techstars Boulder in 2011. Over a decade, we nearly went under, rebuilt the company from the ground up, and merged with four others to form Uplight — a $1.5B public-benefit corporation serving more than 100 million utility customers. Uplight was acquired in 2026.

Today, I invest through Impact Edge in companies rebuilding the systems that shape how we live: energy and power, the future of work, trust and human connection, and advanced manufacturing. I live in Boulder, Colorado with my wife Lana and our two kids. I coach my daughter's middle school basketball team, drink too much pour-over coffee, and am quietly building what comes next.
